MAGNESONIC is an unauthorized research project operating at the intersection of rock and metal. The power trio works with extended range instruments and dynamic vocals spanning blues to brutality, pushing heavy music beyond traditional methods. Led by Dr. Danny Mann (vocals/guitar), alongside Dr. Jack Payne (bass/cello) and Sean Elston (drums/production), with co-lyricist Dr. Johnny Lui, the group engineers visceral, aggressive songs with poetic depth. Their guiding principle, “TONE OR DIE,” demands precision, atmosphere, and intensity in every decision. The members previously collaborated in progressive metal outfit SORIZON (2008–2023), refining the discipline that now defines MAGNESONIC’s sound. In 2026, the project activates with three singles leading to their debut full-length, Origins: a documented exploration of distortion, dynamics, and consequence.
